Natural hot oil treatment for hair

As the pollution level is raising the hair need a lots of care. Due to pollution and stress the hair looks dull. The super easy hot oil treatment is very beneficial for healthy hair. In this article there some easy and natural hot oil treatment for hair.

To give hair moisture hot oil treatment is used, as it gives the look of conditioned hair without having to condition daily. It makes hair look healthier. The hot oil treatment work wonders on dry and damaged hair. Damaged and weak hair is repaired by hot oil as every strand gets the treatment it needs instantly when the oil is applied. Usually it is used once a week. The oil bottle is heated by putting it in hot water for an extended period of time. Natural oils are best to use in hot oil treatment. Hot oil treatment is better option to save time and money by making simple and chemical-free hot oil treatment at home.

Natural hot oil treatment

Olive oil:
Lukewarm the olive oil and apply on the hair and scalp. For 15 min massage it on the scalp. Then take bath and shampoo well. DO conditioner on the next day. Those who do not like thick oil they can use thin oil instead of olive oil.

Jojoba:
Bring pan of water to a rolling boil and remove from heat. Place glass bottle containing pure olive oil in pan. Leave it for five minutes. Gently shampoo tresses and towel dry while olive oil is heating. Before applying olive oil remove all excess moisture from strands. Apply olive oil directly onto hair strands from root to ends avoiding the scalp area. With plastic cap cover the hair and sit under heated dryer or conditioning cap for 10-15 minutes. With warm water rinse the hair. Later, shampoo the hair to remove extra oil.

Olive oil and Canola oil:
Add three tablespoons of olive and three tablespoons of canola oil. Warm the oil. Place the mixture onto the hands and start applying it carefully to the hair starting at the ends and working up to the scalp. Once the mixture has been applied, wrap the hair in a warm towel and leave on for 30 minutes. wash the hair with the shampoo.

Caster oil:
Warm 3 tsp of caster oil. Massage on the scalp and gently comb. Put steaming hot towel on the head and wait for 15 min. Then shower.

Rosemary:
Mix 1/2 cup of dried rosemary leaves and soybean oil. Heat until warm and Strain the ingredients through a fine strainer or cheesecloth to remove all of the access leaves. Cover the head and hair with the mixture, working it through evenly to the end of the strands. Then wrap the hair in plastic and later in a warm towel. Leave the oil mixture on hair for 15 minutes or longer for best results. Wash the hair with shampoo until oil is completely removed.

Ginger:
Squeeze ginger root to obtain one tablespoon of juice. Then mix Ginger root, 1 teaspoon sesame oil and
1 teaspoon lemon juice. Apply to scalp and let dry before shampooing. Repeat three times a week for best results.

Olive oil and honey:
Take 3 tsp of olive oil and 1 tsp of honey. Mix well and apply on scalp. Wait for 15 min and then shampoo well.

Hibiscus (Rosemallow) Flower and Mustard Oil:
Crush the red hibiscus flowers. Add the henna leaves and mustard oil. Heat this mixture in a container.
Strain the heated mixture to separate the oil from the flowers and leaves. Pour the warm oil in a clean, dried container. Massage the oil on the scalp using finger tips and wear a shower cap. Take a bath towel soaked in warm water and squeeze out the excess water. Wrap the towel around the head. Leave it on for about 10-15 minutes. The heat of the steam help the oil get absorbed into the scalp. Wash hair with a mild shampoo.

Soybean:
Combine 1/2 cup soybean oil and 8 drops of each sandalwood, lavender and geranium and warm to a comfortable temperature. Apply the mixture to damp hair. Wrap hair in plastic wrap and apply a hot towel for 20 minutes. Shampoo the hair and rinse well.

Curry Leaves:
Combine coconut oil and 2 strands of curry leaves and heat it until warm. Crush the leaves after the oil is cooled at normal temperature and use a strainer to remove all the access leaves. Then Cover the head and hair with the mixture, working it through evenly to the end of the strands. Wrap the hair in plastic and later in a warm towel. Leave the oil mixture on hair for 15 minutes or longer for best results. Wash the hair with shampoo until oil is completely removed.

Castor Oil and Almond Oil:
In a container mix 1 tsp of each castor oil and almond oil. Warm the mixture over a low flame. Massage the oil on the scalp using finger tips and wear a shower cap. Take a bath towel soaked in warm water and squeeze out the excess water. Wrap the towel around the head. Leave it on for about 10-15 minutes. The heat of the steam help the oil get absorbed into the scalp. Wash hair with a mild shampoo.

Jojoba and soybean:
Combine 2 teaspoons jojoba oil and 1 teaspoon soybean oil. Then warm gently on low heat. Massage the mixture into hair. Wrap hair in a hot towel for 15 minutes. After that, shampoo the hair and rinse well.

Other natural hot oil treatment

  • Take sunflower oil and add 1 tbs. of pure honey, 2 tsp. of vitamin E oil and 10 drops each of lavender essential oil, geranium essential oil and sandalwood essential oil. Mix all the oil together. Apply on the hair and cover the hair with towel. Leave it for 15 to 20 minutes and shampoo out the oil.
  • Mix 2tsp of coconut oil, 1tsp of lime juice and massage into the scalp.
  • Beat together 1egg, 1 tsp vinegar and 2 tsp coconut oil. Massage into the scalp. Comb evenly through hair and leave for 15 min. Then wash off.
