Only in the US can a company sell “water” that has over a 100 calories per serving with crystalline fructose which is a disquise for high fructose corn syrup.

Vitamin Water is a great gimmick. Fabulous! Too bad there’s no chance that any vitamins have survived by the time you drink it. The half-life of most vitamins degrades considerably with exposure to UV light… hence why most vitamins are sold in those ugly brown bottles. I’ve had several food scientists and chemists tell me this and word around town is that the FTC is looking into this as well. So while there were certainly vitamins added to the water at the point of manufacture, there is no potency (or very, very little) left at the time of consumption.

Coconut water is WAY better for you than coco sap (Kristar) also there is a great brand of coconut water. One that I prefer is Vita Coco because its ALL natural literally has one ingredient!(unless you get the flavored kind then the only added ingredient is organic peach/mango or whatever flavor you get fruit puree.) Vita Coco is plain coconut water can also be used as a toner for the skin after cleansing. Ive been doing this for weeks and my skin feels and looks amazing!!! Its cleared my skin up and evened out my skin tone. I think coconut water is a miracle!!

Coconut water as a health, hydrating natural drink beats the manufactured “sports drinks” in my opinion. I personally drink coconut water daily.

I buy the FOCO brand from Costco but its called coconut juice. It has 15g of sugar/240ml and the can has 520ml. I was looking for the Vita Coco but couldn’t find it. Does this one sounds good? Ingredients: young coconut juice (80%),water,sugar,young coconut pulp, citric acid (E330) as acidity regulators, potassium metabisulphite (E224) as preservative.
thanks!

The FOCO brand sounds like alot of the kinds that you can find at an Asian foods market. Personally I think the added sugar is a minus not only for your health but in taste!
Although for some reason the brands with sugar are much cheaper than brands with no added sugars- about $2 cheaper per small can. Does anyone know why ?Or if there is any reason (obviously other than the sugar) that this makes them cheaper or any different than other 100% coconut water brands?
That way yes you’d drink more sugar, and suffer the horrible taste of sweetener, but be able to buy coconut water at Costco for much cheaper and still get the other amazing benefits.
