- Flaxseed oil
Nuts and Seeds:

- Sunflower seed butter
- Tahini and dry roasted cashews
- Peanuts
- Roasted pumpkin seeds
- Smooth & crunchy natural peanut butter
- Pecans
- Sunflower seeds
- Hazelnuts
- Walnuts
- Pecans

MFA diet plan contains “good fats” which help to lower LDL (Bad Cholesterol) & increase HDL (Good Cholesterol) cholesterol. In addition, it also helps to decrease belly fat and thus help in reducing risk of type 2 diabetes, lowering your blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, reducing the risk of parkinson’s disease and internal inflammation.
Your dieting will become much easier with healthy MUFA fats. However, one warning is if you don’t look at some of these foods like guacamole and nuts you could see a weight gain so keep in mind to portion-control. It helps to reduce fat by making a sense of fullness which satisfies your hunger longer.

Disadvantages:
- A higher caloric amount may be needed by dieters than other is prescribed by most diets.
- Must purchase the book and pursue the prescribed meal plans, although you are permitted to mix and match meal options.
- There is little proof that shows a focus on monounsaturated fats to help de-bloat the abdomen.
Does it really work?
Effectiveness of MUFA diet depends on the person. If he/she follows strictly the MUFA diet, it does work.
