Work related stress and health issues

If you feel stress at your workplace, then there may be one of two reasons behind that. Either you are not capable for the post you are working on, or you are given more than your capacity. There may be also office facilities, environment, co workers and your behavior responsible for your stress. Stress is normal reaction of our body and mind to the challenging, danger or upset event or environment.
Some people can remain calm in such situation and can’t feel any stress, while some people get tiered of little workload and get stress. Stress is also depends on your nature and lifestyle. Work related stress is associated with your business or job. But it can affect your whole day and even married life. Skipping meal and sleep can make it bigger and bigger.
Don’t take stress lightly; it can do following things to you.
- It can lead you to heart disease, blood pressure of diabetics.
- It can increase your productivity and accuracy temporary but harmful for long term.
- Large amount of blood pumped to the brain during stress, other parts of body won’t get enough blood supply.
- Countable amount of Energy and glucose will be used in body.
- The immune and digestive system are temporary shut down and will be slow down gradually.
- It can also cause headache and back pain.
- Stress can also play role in some cancers.
- It can lead you to Depression and sleep problem.
Stress Management: How to deal with stress?
- Stress is well connected with emotions and anger. If you can control that, stress can’t harm you.
- Try to be helpful and create good relation with co worker, their support will save you from stress, while loneliness will always multiply your stress in work and family.
- Generate self confidence in your work and skill. Consider every failure as an opportunity.
- Proper knowledge and preparation will help your to ease your daily problem, and improve your confidence.
- Try Yoga and other relaxation techniques. It will be also helpful to maintain health.
- Identify limit of your body and mind, don’t accept work more than that.
- Little walk, coffee break, play with pet, phone to friend, light music, bath and exercise can relive stress immediately.
