FDA wants to post calorie counts on restaurant menus

On 1st April, the Food and Drug Administration proposed new rules about calorie counts. According to new rules, the chain restaurants with 20 or more places, bakeries, convenience stores, grocery stores, vending machines and coffee chains have to post the amount of calories in each item on menus and menu boards. This rule does not include bowling alleys, movie theaters, airplanes and other business as selling food is not their main business.
