As per new study, the women who experience hot flashes and night sweats when they begin menopause may be at a lower risk for heart disease, stroke and death. In U.S., hot flashes are also recognized as hot flushes. Hot flashes generate painful feeling of extreme heat and lasts for around 4 minutes on average. The study was published in the journal Menopause on 24th February.
