I was hoping to find something here which is so lacking in most of the links I’ve been through, and it’s this:

***What is the dilution of lemon juice to warm water?***

Let’s say you use the juice of one lemon. How much water do you use to make lemon water from the juice of that one lemon?

So weird that no one bothers clarifying the optimal dilution.

By the way, I forgot to mention in my last post —> thanks for all the info about lemons and lemon juice :)

Andrew, I just read an article and it suggests that if you weigh less than 70 kg, then use 1/2 lemon in 1 cup of warm/hot water twice a day. If you weigh more than 70 kg, then use 1 lemon in 1 cup of warm/hot water twice a day.

All of the articles re lemon water suggest that you should start your day with a cup of lemon water.

Also, if you do not have fresh lemons on hand, you can use the lemon juice that comes in the yellow plastic lemons or “real lemon” juice from the bottle. There are also packets (dry) of pure lemon available at many grocery stores – great for travelling. Just add to a cup of warm/hot water.

And, if you don’t like the taste of lemon & water, add a bit of pure honey for a natural sweetener.

I’ve found these articles by searching “benefits of lemon”.

Wow…thank you sooo much, Wendy! You’re an absolute peach.

I’ll jot down what you wrote.

    And I WISH I was 70 kg…hahaha

I reckon I’ll pretend I’m 70 kg ‘cos 1 lemon to 1 cup might be too acidic for me (teeth-wise).

Also, lemons are plentiful here so I use the real thing.

    Once again…thank yoooooo :)

    Andrew
