Most of the processed foods stick a label of “Nutrition Facts”, but you might not know about fresh fruits and vegetables. Nutrition requirements may vary according to age, sex, dieses and deficiency. Growing child and Pregnant woman needs more protein than average people. Diabetics people needs glycemic index of all food to maintain their blood sugar while anemic person needs more iron rich foods in diet. Your nutrition requirements also depend of your body mass index. Find out first that your weight is ideal for your height or not?
There is much more difference between nutrition you eat, and your body get. Yes, you won’t get all the iron from spinach. It depends on capability of absorption. But you can increase this capability with help of the nutrition. For example Vitamin C will increase iron absorption in body rather than just eating iron rich food. There are different nutrition value of each fruit & vegetable according to their species, season, area of cultivation and time of yield.
